Greek Youth Generator (GYG) hosted an event in Melbourne in collaboration with Greece’s Consulate General on the process of applying for Greek citizenship. The event, called “Hey Greece, where’s my passport?”, aimed to provide accurate and concise information on the process of acquiring citizenship through various means such as descent, marriage, investment, and naturalization.

Guest speaker Lukas Theodorou of Helco Consulting highlighted the benefits of citizenship, dispelled common misconceptions and explained the various caveats. Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from Katerina Douka, a representative of the Greek Consul in Melbourne, and the Consul General Emmanuel Kakavelakis.
